GLASGOW'S newest food bank will be launched later this month.
The life-line service will be based in Ibrox but will serve the south west of Glasgow.
The food bank is being set up with help from the Trussell Trust.
It already has three busy branches - the south east food bank in Govanhill, the north west branch in Scotstoun and a city centre food bank in Calton.
The Govanhill food bank handed out more than 3000 meals in just a month to hungry families.
A launch will be held in Ibrox Parish Church at 11am on November 29.
