TOP Scots singing sensation Nicola Cassells will headline at a grand Christmas charity concert.
The Ayr singer will perform a selection of Christmas carols alongside a selection of covers, at the Scottish Spina Bifida Association's Christmas Celebration.
Tomorrow's event at the City Chambers, in George Square, aims to raise as much cash as possible for the Glasgow-based charity.
Broadcaster Shereen Nanjiani will host the event, while Scottish Spina Bifida Association patron and Dragons' Den star Duncan Bannatyne will also be attending.
The money raised will help the charity to continue its commitment of care and support to more than 3000 children, young adults and families affected by spina bifida in Scotland.
Spina bifida is a disorder which affects the development of the spinal cord and hydrocephalus is a build up of fluid in the skull.
The charity is chaired by 2009 Evening Times Scotswoman of the Year, consultant geneticist Dr Margo Whiteford.
Dubbed as the Scottish answer to Katherine Jenkins, Nicola has performed at a host of diverse venues, including at the Evening Times' Scotswoman of the Year awards.
She has put her own classical twist on rock classics like Biffy Clyro's Many of Horror and Queen's Who Wants To Live Forever.
Nicola said she was "delighted" to be taking part in the concert.
She has also performed at charity fundraisers, including Cash for Kids and breast cancer awareness dinners.
Encouraged by a friend, Nicola entered an Open Mic UK competitionin Glasgow in September 2009 and made it to the regional finals.
The association needs to raise more than £1million each year.
Tickets cost £25 and are available from www.sba.org.uk/christmascelebration or by calling 01236 794 508.
