AN investigation has been launched after a man's body was discovered in a park.
Police and ambulance services were called to East End Park in the Seedhill area of Paisley at around 8.30pm last night.
The body of a 34-year-old man was discovered at the Cochrane street entrance to the park.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said the death is being treated as unexplained.
The area was sealed off and investigations are continuing.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At 8.30pm last night the body of a 34-year-old man was discovered in East End park on Cochrane Street in Paisley.
"Police enquiries are ongoing to establish the cause of death and a post mortem examination will be held in due course.
"Meanwhile, the death is being treated as unexplained."
