VETERAN Clyde 1 radio presenter Tiger Tim Stevens will join DJ George Bowie to present a 40th anniversary show for the station.
Clyde bosses said the show will "marry the old with the new", commemorating the station's heritage as well as looking forward to the future.
The duo will be on air tomorrow, between 8pm and 10pm, combining some of Tiger Tim's classic features and iconic songs with the "best of Bowie".
Radio Clyde legend Tiger Tim has been battling multiple sclerosis, since 1987.
George, who joined the station in 1991, said: "I'm over the moon to be given the opportunity to work with the legendary Tiger Tim.
"Tim played a fundamental part in the success of Radio Clyde."
Despite hanging up his head phones three years ago, Tiger Tim has remained a key figure at Clyde 1 and was appointed the first ambassador of Radio Clyde's Cash for Kids charity.
He said today: "I spent 37 years at Radio Clyde and I'm honoured to be invited back to celebrate the 40th anniversary.
"I'm really looking forward to working with Bowie and cracking out some of the old favourites. I'm sure we'll do the station justice and put on a great show."
In 2006, Tiger was awarded an MBE for outstanding service to the Glasgow community.
