Police have launched an investigation into allegations of abuse directed at Celtic manager Neil Lennon during a football match.
Lennon had coins thrown at him and was spat on at the league cup semi-final at Tynecastle. He walked out of the stadium in the 62nd minute of Aberdeen's 4-0 victory over St Johnstone on Saturday.
A police spokeswoman said: "Following reporting of abuse directed at Neil Lennon during the Aberdeen v St Johnstone match at Tynecastle, Police Scotland is currently carrying out inquiries."
