A CANCER charity is looking for volunteers to set up a fundraising group in the north of Glasgow.
Marie Curie Cancer Care wants to launch a group covering Springburn, Balornock, Barmulloch, Cowlairs, Royston, Sighthill, Milton and the surrounding areas.
The charity is developing a network of fundraising groups across the UK and said the results from 2012 into 2013 had been "incredible".
A charity spokeswoman said: "The groups are a chance to socialise, have fun, get involved in your community and raise funds to provide care to terminally ill people in the area.
"Group members can make an enormous difference locally."
A meeting is taking place at 7.15pm on March 18 at the Marie Cure Hospice at 133 Balornock Road.
