A climber has died in a fall on Ben Nevis.
The 57-year-old from the Glasgow area was walking with another man on Britain's highest peak when he fell to his death yesterday.
Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team assisted following the accident on the Carn Dearg Buttress at around 11am.
A spokesman said: "This is the team's third fatality this year and always leaves an air of sadness within the team no matter how many you are involved in.
"Our thoughts are as always with family and friends at this time."
