Edinburgh City Council has received a report into a crematorium where the remains of babies were disposed of without the knowledge of their families.
Former Lord Advocate Dame Elish Angiolini has completed an investigation into former practices at Mortonhall Crematorium.
The scandal emerged in December 2012.
