POLICE searching for a Glasgow student who disappeared more than a month ago have found a body.
Fanqi Zhai, 25, was last seen by his partner leaving his home in Harbour Terrace, Partick, on Thursday, March 27.
Police Scotland confirmed a man's body was recovered from the River Clyde, near to Renfrew, at around 3.30pm on Tuesday.
The 25-year-old was a student at Glasgow Caledonian University.
A police spokeswoman said: "A formal identification is still to be confirmed.
"However it is believed to be Mr Zhai.
"A post mortem examination will take place in due course to confirm the identity and establish the exact cause of death.
"There appear to be no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
"Family members have been informed."
A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
