PARTICK Thistle has launched a new home kit, with the help of competition winner Glen Tremble.
The 13-year-old from Blantyre came up with a winning design for the club's mini balls.
Merchandise supplier Total Teamware received more than 250 ideas but Glen's design was the clear winner.
Alan Macartney of Total said: "It was the most intricate and imaginative design of the lot. It's also spherical, which looks good on the mini balls.
"It really caught our eye too, because it made the best use of Partick Thistle's colours."
The teenager won a full kit and some mini balls as well as the chance to meet his Firhill heroes.
Only 500 limited edition balls have been made and they will be available for £6.99 each from the club's merchandise shop.
Kit supplier Total Teamwear expect them to sell out, along with more than 2000 of the new tops.
Mr Macartney said: "When you consider the number of Partick Thistle fans at each home match, it's quite good."
The Jags have been associated with some controversial design choices - everyone remembers the 2009 pink camouflage away top.
Mr Macartney hopes this more traditional strip will be popular. He added: "The following is strong and they really support the brand."
The new home kit can be bought from the Total Teamware shop at 112 Mid Wharf Street, Port Dundas, Glasgow.
