A GROUP of superfit fundraisers are preparing to pedal from London to Barcelona to raise funds for a childrens' charity.
On Sunday, Bryan Marshall, David Winskill, Iain White and Andy Russell, all from Glasgow, will set off on the challenge of a lifetime, to cycle from London to Barcelona in 14 days to raise funds for Yorkhill Children's Charity.
Riding road bikes, they will be covering a distance of more than 1384 miles (2215km)and the team hopes to average over 100 miles each day and will take in two of the toughest mountain stages of the Tour de France.
Following the success of a sponsored cycle event last year from Calais to Barcelona, when the same fearless foursome managed to raise more than £9000 for Yorkhill Children's Charity, the team is hoping to exceed this amount for the charity this year.
