A MAN is to stand trial in connection with an alleged armed robbery and sexual assault.
Thomas Feeney is accused of attacking a 32-year-old woman at a property near Shotts, North Lanarkshire, on September 5 last year.
Mr Feeney, 45, faces a charge which includes a claim that he attacked the woman with intent to rape.
He yesterday pled not guilty to the allegations at the High Court in Glasgow.
