The SSE Hydro has soared into third place in the Pollstar "Top 100 Worldwide Arena Venues" rankings.
The list, compiled quarterly by the leading entertainment industry publication Pollstar, is based on arena attendance for live entertainment.
In just 10 months since opening, The SSE Hydro has hosted 120 live entertainment performances and welcomed over a million fans through the doors.
Almost every major UK arena tour now makes its way through Glasgow, and in the last quarter alone stars including Justin Timberlake, McBusted, Katy Perry, Prince, The Eagles, Dolly Parton, Kings of Leon, and Robbie Williams have performed at the venue.
John Langford, director of live entertainment at The SSE Hydro, said: "To have reached number three on the Pollstar rankings in less than a year since opening is incredible and demonstrates just how well the venue has been adopted by Scottish fans. Glasgow and The SSE Hydro are firmly established as major players in this exciting industry."
