PEOPLE have beeen warned that roads used in today's cycling time trial could be closed until at least 7pm.
The single loop course (40km for men, 30km for women) will take in the countryside of East Dunbartonshire and North Lanarkshire as well as the city's East End.
Commuters were being warned to expect "significant" disruption to travel today with dozens of road closures and bus services diverted or cancelled.
The women's race will run from 10am to 11.30am with the men's starting at 12.30pm and finishing at 3.20pm.
Roads will start to be re-opened after this time but commuters are warned it could be at least 7pm before all roads are re-opened.
