COMMUTERS faced disruption after a fault closed the outer circle of Glasgow's subway.
Passengers travelling on the underground system on Wednesday from around 7.45am were told there was a problem that could not be identified.
A 28-year-old City Centreworker who was travelling from Partick to Buchanan Street, said: "We were told there was a problem with the outer circle when we got to Hillhead Station.
"The train was packed and people were beginning to get worried after we were left waiting about 10 minutes.
"There was an announcement saying the outer circle was suspended and everyone had to get off and find other transport.
"It was chaos. It normally takes me 10 minutes to get to work but today it was 45 minutes."
