ENTERTAINER John Barrowman celebrated at Buckingham Palace after receiving an MBE.
He was joined by his parents Marion and John and husband Scott Gill for the investiture ceremony hosted by the Princess Royal.
The Glasgow-born entertainer received the honour for services to light entertainment and to charity.
Barrowman said: "The joys of doing something you love to do is that you don't think something like this is going to happen. So when it does happen it is a huge honour, it's like the cherry on top of the sundae."
His charity work ranges from being a celebrity patron of both Down's Syndrome Scotland and the Dogs Trust, to supporting Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
