A PROBE has been launched following the death of a man who had been in police custody.
The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service has instructed the Police Investigations & Review Commissioner to carry out an investigation into the the death of Paul Raymond Beckley.
Mr Beckley had been in police custody in a Glasgow City Centre police office on Wednesday, November 5 and later died in Glasgow Royal Infirmary on November 7.
A report into the findings of the investigation will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal Service in due course.
