ATHLETES will be put through their paces at a new Scottish Championship event.
Triathlonscotland is organising The Scottish Club Relay Championships, which will take place at Strathclyde Park on May 23 and 24 2015.
The relay is billed as a "new and exciting, fast paced" race, where teams comprise four athletes, who each take it in turn to complete.
Gemma Simpson, Event and Volunteer Manager, said: "Scotland loves relay racing and has welcomed it enthusiastically over the last two years.
"The exciting format captured the interest of the whole nation at the Commonwealth Games.
"So there is no better a place to launch our first Scottish Club Relay Championships than at Strathclyde Park.
"In addition, there are no other mixed team relay club championships so far in the UK and so we are thrilled to be leading the way."
The Scottish Club Relay Championships will be part of a number of events taking place over the weekend in May.
