TAGGART star Alex Norton is to appear in Glasgow on Saturday.
Alex, who played Detective Inspector Matt Burke in the hit STV drama, will be signing copies of his new autobiography, It's Been A Life.
The actor, who also starred in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, will be appearing at Waterstones on Argyle St at 2pm.
And it's certain he will draw a sizeable audience. Excerpts from his book reveal an incredible life story, of growing up in the south side of Glasgow to becoming a child actor.
Along the way, Alex reveals tales of his adventures in Hollywood, a highly complicated love life - and a battle with depression.
"I've tried to be as honest as I can," says the actor/writer/director, of his book, which is also incredibly funny.
