PEOPLE living in Clydebank are being asked to help shape the future of their town centre.
The Scottish Government has selected the town centre for a design 'charrette' - an intensive consultation that gets local people in the design of their community.
The charrette aims to develop a long-term vision for the town centre and identify proposals for development sites, improve transport and parking and establish a clear masterplan.
The charrette will take place in Clydebank town hall from February 11 to 14.
Planning convener Lawrence O'Neill said: "This event will see the public, designers and specialists working together, 'hands on', to prepare a long term vision, development framework and action plan with the ideas translated into plans and drawings.
"We want to prepare a future vision that is realistic, that will have the support of local residents and businesses, and will establish the regeneration priorities for the next 10 years. It is an exciting event and I hope there will be as much participation as possible."
