A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault at a pub in Kirkintilloch.
A man has been arrested in connection with an alleged serious assault at a pub in Kirkintilloch.
The incident happened at around 9.50pm on Monday, January 26 at the Attash Bar in the town centre.
A 23 year old man was taken to hospital and has since been released.
Detective Constable Alyson Paton from Kirkintilloch CID said: "We received a high volume of calls from members of the public following the alleged attack and I would like to thank them all for their help.
"Incidents such as this don't happen very often in the area and officers will remain vigilant and committed to keeping people safe."
The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court this morning .
