RAIL passengers are set to benefit from a new Sunday service.
ScotRail will be running extra trains on its summer timetable from Duke Street, Alexandra Parade, and Barnhill stations.
From Sunday, May 17, the enhanced service will see trains stopping on an hourly basis at these stations on the Partick to Cumbernauld route.
In a separate move, a new Saturday morning service will be available between Oban and Glasgow May 23.
Steve Montgomery, ScotRail's managing director, said: "These timetable improvements will give customers in the Glasgow area more opportunities to make the most of their weekend whether they're shopping the city centre, or going further afield."
