THE BODY of a man found in a Drumchapel field has been identified as that of missing Joseph Clark.
The 56-year-old was discovered in the greenspace near Belsyde Avenue in Drumchapel at around 11.25am on Saturday.
He is understood to have been missing since February 20, with police issuing a widespread appeal for information.
The man was last seen on Garscadden Road last month.
A police spokeswoman said: "We are not treating the death as suspicious.
"Although formal identification is still to take place we believe the body to be that of 56-year-old Joseph Clark.
"His family are aware."
