A COUPLE were left shaken but uninjured after a car ploughed into their home.
The white Mazda, thought to have been travelling at 80mph, hit the house in Bishopbriggs on Friday night.
The car had been stolen from Glasgow's East End before the accident, which took place around 10.35pm on Menteith Avenue.
Alyson Timoney and her husband Raymond were at home at the time but were not injured, and the driver and passengers of the car are understood to have run off after the crash.
CCTV footage shows the car hitting a lamppost before mowing through a hedge and clipping the Timoney's car.
It crashed through a 3ft wall and eventually stopped just outside the couple's front window, having flipped upside down in the process.
A police spokesman said: " Enquiries are continuing."
