POLICE investigating a mystery attack in a pub have urged the victim to come forward.
Detectives said a young man, believed to be in his early 20s, was attacked in Cafuffals Pub in Paisley.
However, he left the New Street venue without raising the alarm with the police.
Officers have now launched a public appeal for the attack victim to come forward.
He was targeted by thugs at around 12.30am on Sunday September 27.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "At around 12.30am on Sunday September 27, a white male, in his early 20s, of slim build was assaulted within Cafuffals Pub, in New Street, Paisley.
"This male was tended to by staff within but no details were provided of the injured male to police.
"Paisley CID are keen to trace the male.
"If anyone has any information in relation to this assault please contact Paisley CID on 101."
