THE SNP will not campaign with Labour or the Tories in the EU referendum campaign Humza Yousaf has declared.
Despite all three parties expected to campaign to remain in the EU the minister for Europe said the SNP would pursue its own campaign.
He said: “Let make it clear the SNP will not join a campaign club with the Tories. we will not stand shoulder to shoulder as Scottish Labour did with the Conservatives.”
He said the party would not take part in any “project fear mark two”.
He added: “We will not join a campaign with the divided Labour Party. We will have our own positive, grassroots upbeat SNP campaign.”
He also said it was a disgrace that EU citizens living in the UK will be denied a vote in the referendum.
