A DRIVER was rushed to hospital after a fireball crash in Glasgow.
The woman's car - which is believed to be a Vauxhall Corsa - hit a barrier on the M8 motorway at Townhead before bursting into flames.
The horrific crash happened at around 12.30pm today.
Part of the road was closed while investigations were carried out.
The driver, who is believed to be in her 60s, was rushed by ambulance to hospital.

A Scotland TranServ spokeswoman said diversions were in place.
