Krispy Kreme's Glasgow store has officially opened with some doughnut fans queueing for over eight hours to be first in line for the US chain's famous treats.
The American firm tweeted to official confirm the opening of its new store in the former Clydebuilt Scottish Maritime Museum at Braehead this morning.

Krispy Kreme tweeted at 10.47pm last night to say queues were already forming ahead of the Braehead store's official opening at 7am today.
So, we have a queue forming outside our new store at @intuBraehead for our 7am opening! #exciting

The store will be holding a number special events to mark the opening, including competitions.
The Glasgow store will be the third Krispy Kreme branch in Scotland, following in the footsteps of Edinburgh and Livingstone.
Hundreds queued for the opening of the first Scottish store at Hermiston Gait in 2013.
The opening also caused traffic jams on the city bypass and the M8.
