COPS are today hunting the culprit behind threatening phone calls to six Glasgow schools.
Police were called in after a threat was made to each school over the phone.
The Evening Times understands Bellahouston Academy, Eastbank Academy, Whitehill Secondary School, Hillhead High School, Smithycroft Secondary School and Bannerman High School received a malicious phone call.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "A number of schools in the Glasgow area received a threat via the telephone.
"Police are treating it as malicious.
"Inquiries are continuing."
Detectives are understood to be following a positive line of inquiry.
