A severe weather warning has been issued for the west of Scotland, with heavy rain set to batter the region on Tuesday.
The Met Office have issued a yellow warning of rain for Strathclyde which will be in force from 4am until 4pm on Tuesday, January 26.
Rainfall of up to 60mm is expected.
Areas likely to be most affected are Argyll and Bute, East Ayrshire, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, North Ayrshire, Renfrewshire, South Ayrshire, South Lanarkshire and West Dunbartonshire.
The Met Office is warning of potential disruption to travel caused by flooding and say the rain will be accompanied by severe gales, particularly for exposed coasts and hills.
