WET Wet Wet frontman Marti Pellow is set to star in panto in Glasgow.
It has been revealed today that the Clydebank-born singer will appear at the Clyde Auditorium at the end of the year.
The news will delight fans of the Wets star who will appear as the wicked Abanazer in a production of Aladdin, starring alongside perennial favourites the Krankies and Glasgow's own Michele McManus.
However, it won't be the first time Marti has appeared in panto.
Last year, he starred in Aladdin at the Birmingham Hippodrome and was a resounding success.
One critic wrote; "Marti Pellow makes his panto debut with gusto, surprisingly dramatic and extremely effective. He makes for a fantastic, boo-able pantomime villain."
