POLICE are searching for a man who vanished after giving his partner a lift.
Richard Lee, of Knocklea, Biggar, was last seen at 10am on Monday, February 8 as he dropped his partner off in Culter.
The 35-year-old, who is a taxi driver, is described as around 5ft 8in tall, with short brown hair and of medium build with blue eyes.
When last seen he was believed to be wearing a zipped up top and jeans and possibly a black baseball cap.
He is also believed to have access to a black Skoda Octavia with registration plate GJ14 WRA.
Inspector Stephen McManus, of Lanarkshire Police Division, said: "Richard hasn't been seen by his family since Monday and as time passes we are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing.
"He does have access to his vehicle and is believed to have travelled outwith the local area possibly to the Edinburgh area.
"I would ask anyone with information on his current location to contact Lanark Police Office on 101."
