A Rangers supporters club has issued an hilarious response to a story about TV show Gogglebox censoring one of their mugs.

The Bridgeton Loyal Rangers Supporters Club today spoke out following the story that the popular Channel 4 show had blurred out the logo on one of their mugs.

The mug featured on the first airing of the show, but due to viewer complaints it was censored in repeats with the channel claiming it breached promotional rules.

The Bridgeton Loyal Rangers Supporters Club, had a great reaction to seeing The Scottish Sun’s front page today and posted this on their Facebook page.

The post read: "BLRSC - A Statement. We have been asked to comment on the story which appears on the front page of today's Sun newspaper.

To say we are astonished is an understatement, we have thought long an d hard about our response and would like to state publicly the following, Cheryl was always one of our favourites, but we are sure the X Factor will continue to be a success, regardless of who is sitting in the judges chair" message ends."
