Rangers 3-1 St Mirren
Mark Warburton’s side got their title challenge off to a winning start at Ibrox. Lee Wallace hit a double for the Gers before Cameron Howieson scored for Saints. Dean Shiels clinched the points in the last minute.

Alloa 1-5 Rangers
James Tavernier and Martyn Waghorn netted either side of a Michael Chopra strike inside the opening nine minutes. Jason Holt made sure of the points before Kenny Miller netted late in either half.
Rangers 1-0 Hibernian
The Gers continued their fine start to the campaign with victory at Ibrox. Tavernier’s superb free-kick was the only goal of the game as Warburton’s side put down a marker of their title intentions.
Queen of the South 1-5 Rangers
Rangers ran out comfortable winners at Palmerston as Andy Halliday opened the scoring, Waghorn netted twice and Holt and Barrie McKay were also on target. Aidan Smith scored a late consolation for Queens.

Rangers 5-0 Raith Rovers
Wallace put Warburton’s side ahead after four minutes before Tavernier netted just before the interval. A McKay effort and Waghorn double completed the scoring as Rangers turned on the style.
Rangers 3-0 Livingston
Wallace and Waghorn were again on target as they maintained their stunning early season form. Nicky Law added a third late on in a comfortable Gers win.
Dumbarton 1-2 Rangers
Warburton’s side edged out the Sons as Waghorn scored twice at the Rock, the second of which came from 12 yards. Garry Fleming netted a last minute penalty for the hosts.

Morton 0-4 Rangers
Rangers bounced back from their League Cup defeat to St Johnstone with an impressive showing at Cappielow. Waghorn bagged his first hat-trick for the Light Blues and Tavernier got his name on the score sheet once again.
Rangers 3-1 Falkirk
It took late goals from Tavernier and Wallace to clinch the points after Will Vaulks had cancelled out Dean Shiels’ opener with a stunning long-range effort.
Rangers 2-1 Queen of the South
Waghorn turned from villain to hero as he headed home a last minute winner just seconds after missing a penalty. Holt had earlier pulled the Gers level after a Derek Lyle strike put Queens ahead.
St Mirren 0-1 Rangers
Gers had keeper Wes Foderingham to thank as he pulled off a string of impressive stops in Paisley. Holt’s first half strike from a tight angle was all that separated the sides.

Hibernian 2-1 Rangers
Warburton suffered his first league loss as boss thanks to goals from Jason Cummings and Paul Hanlon. A Darren McGregor own goal had brought the Gers level at Easter Road.
Rangers 4-0 Alloa
Waghorn was again at the double as he scored twice in the first half either side of a Tavernier effort. Nicky Clark completed a comfortable win in the last minute.
Livingston 1-1 Rangers
Holt gave the Gers the lead against the Lions but Warburton’s side were far from their best. Myles Hippolyte earned Livi a point just after the break as the Gers faltered.
Rangers 4-0 Dumbarton
Warburton’s side needed a second half spree to get back to winning ways. Holt got the ball rolling before Waghorn clinched the points and Nathan Oduwa and Andy Halliday scored late on.

Rangers 2-2 Morton
Despite Kenny Miller opening the scoring after just two minutes, it took a late Waghorn strike to snatch a point for the Gers. A Tavernier own goal and Stefan McCluskey effort had put the Ton on course for a shock win.
Falkirk 2-1 Rangers
The Light Blues’ poor run continued as they lost at Westfield thanks to goals from John Baird and Vaulks. McKay had brought Rangers level in the first half and Waghorn missed a late penalty.
Rangers 4-2 Hibernian
Warburton’s side ended the year on a high note as Holt netted twice to cancel out a Cummings effort before Clark sealed the win. Waghorn made it four shortly after Dominique Malonga had scored for the visitors.
Dumbarton 0-6 Rangers
Miller netted a hat-trick as the Gers eased to victory in their first match of 2016. Waghorn, Halliday and Tavernier added a shine to the score line in the final ten minutes of a comfortable win.
Rangers 4-1 Livingston
The Gers had the points wrapped up by half-time as Danny Wilson opened his account for the campaign and Waghorn netted twice either side of a Miller strike. Liam Buchanan hit a consolation for Livi.

Morton 0-2 Rangers
A controversial night as Halliday saw red but an important one for Rangers as they claimed all three points. Miller and McKay got the goals in a hard-fought win at Cappielow.
Rangers 1-0 Falkirk
Warburton’s side left it late as they took a significant step towards the Premiership. Billy King headed home a last minute winner to mark his Ibrox bow in style.
Raith Rovers 0-1 Rangers
Michael O’Halloran made his Gers debut but it was the returning Halliday who earned the points. His first half goal was celebrated with handshakes all round and was all that separated the sides.
Alloa 1-1 Rangers
The Light Blues made their final trip to the Indodrill Stadium and left with more unhappy memories. O’Halloran cancelled out Jason Marr’s effort but Warburton’s side dropped two points as they spurned a series of chances.
Queen of the South 0-1 Rangers
A tight encounter in Dumfries was won with a moment of magic. Miller stepped off the bench to grab the win with a superb long-range strike as Rangers got back to winning ways.
Rangers 1-0 St Mirren
Warburton’s side again left it late but got the win they needed. Harry Forrester scored his first goal for the Gers as they pulled further clear of Hibs at the top of the table.
Rangers 2-0 Raith Rovers
Forrester was again on target as the Gers moved another step closer to the title. Wallace’s 51st minute strike ended the game as a contest as Warburton’s side eased to victory.
Rangers 3-1 Morton
The Ton looked to upset the odds again but couldn’t hold on after Denny Johnstone’s opener. Miller scored twice just before the break and Wallace eased any nerves at Ibrox with the third early in the second half.
Falkirk 3-2 Rangers
Warburton’s side were cruising to victory as Miller and McKay netted early on. But the Gers threw away the points as they collapsed after the break, Blair Alston, Hippolyte and Bob McHugh scoring for the Bairns.
Rangers 4-3 Queen of the South
A blitz of goals early in the second half was enough for Warburton’s side as O’Halloran, Halliday and Tavernier added to Forrester’s 14th minute opener. Iain Russell and Gary Oliver had netted for Queens before Mark Millar got a consolation in the final seconds.
Raith Rovers 3-3 Rangers
The Gers were seconds away from their Championship coronation as they came from behind thanks to goals from Forrester and O’Halloran before Miller put them 3-2 up in the second half. Wes Foderingham saved a last minute penalty before Harry Panayiotou denied Warburton’s side the win, and the title, in the dying seconds.
Rangers 1–0 Dumbarton
After years, and an extra few days, of waiting, Rangers clinched their Premiership return with victory over Dumbarton at Ibrox.
A Tavernier strike early in the second half was all Warburton’s side needed to secure the points that confirmed their status as champions.
The final whistle sparked wild celebrations as the Gers savoured the moment. For Warburton and his players, it was a reward for their efforts this term.
