A goal from right back James Tavernier was enough to secure a 1-0 victory and ensure Warburton’s side were out of the reach of title rivals Falkirk and Hibernian with four league games remaining.
The jubilant players enjoyed a lap of honour after earning three crucial points, with fans staying on to show their appreciation for the club’s players and staff.
Last night’s triumph was welcomed by Rangers supporters and former players on social media.
