A PENSIONER was targeted by bogus workers in East Kilbride.
The 93-year-old woman lost a three-figure sum of cash after three men agreed to carry out roofing work.

The incident happened in Owen Avenue at around 10am on Wednesday, April 27.
Police say enquiries are ongoing.
A spokeswoman added: “Officers are appealing for information to trace three men who took a three figure sum of cash after agreeing to carry out roofing work for the 93 year-old woman.

“Anyone who saw these three men, or anything suspicious is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively contact CRIMESTOPPERS on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained."
