Nessie hunters have been left bewildered after a dog walker found what appears to be the skeletal remains of the legendary Scottish sea beast washed up on a beach.
The remains were found on the shore of Loch Ness, blocked off by police tape.

The scene appears to be an elaborate prank organised by a trickster who has managed to create a lifesize skeleton frame complete with organs of the legendary creature.

The striking images were posted on a Facebook page run by animal charity Help2Rehome Scotland with response to the pictures divided between the hard-core Nessie fans and those who saw it as juist a bit of fun.
