OUTLANDER has taken over one of Glasgow's hospitals.
The hit TV show is secretly filming this week in the now-closed Victoria Infirmary.
The building, which first opened in 1890, has now been sold to social housing firm Sanctuary Housing.
All inpatient and A&E Services were transferred to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in May last year and the building, part of which is B-listed, has lain empty since.
An insider said: "This is the last thing that will happen in the Victoria Infirmary before it is sold off so it is quite special to be here and recording the building as it is now for history.
"Although it looks quite different to how patients will remember it."
It is not the first time Glasgow landmarks have been transformed by staff from the smash-hit show.
Crews have previously turned the Necropolis into Paris and have been spotted making previous series in Pollok Park and at Glasgow Cathedral.
The time-travel drama series, based on novels by American author Diana Gabaldon, is set in the Highlands at the time of the battle of Culloden.
It tells the tale of a World War II nurse Claire, played by Caitriona Balfe, who travels back to 1743 and meets warrior Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan.
