Police are appealing for information after the attempted murder of a man in Carntyne.
The 45-year-old man was struck by a vehicle on Sunday October 23 at around 8.45pm when crossing Carntynehall Road.
The car is described as a black Volkswagen Golf which drove off and was traced a short time later abandoned in Burnbrae Street, Springburn.
The man was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated for a head and arm injury. His conditition has been described as stable.

Detective Constable John McClintock of Shettleston Police Office said: “The incident is being treated as attempted murder and extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace whoever was driving the car at the time of the incident.
“I would appeal to any witnesses, and in particular I would appeal to two men who came to the aid of the injured man immediately after the incident, who both had left the scene before police arrival, to come forward to police as they may have information that is vital to this investigation.”
