IT is Glasgow’s annual festive tradition.. and this year’s Irn Bru Carnival is promising louder screams and bigger thrills.

From December 21 to January 15, the ultimate adrenaline lover’s playground will take over the SECC.

Fran McIntyre, managing director at QD Events said: “Celebrating our 96th year, the IRN-BRU Carnival will be back bigger and better than ever.”

Thrill rides King Loops and Superbowl both make new additons to the line up, along with the Ice Mirror Maze for children.

Making its big return by popular demand is the gravity-defying Sticky Wall - facing a force equivalent to three times that of gravity, riders are levitated into the air as the floor beneath their feet disappears.

Celebrating 96 years of family fun, the IRN-BRU Carnival is Europe’s largest indoor funfair with more than 65 rides and attractions.

Other thrill rides include Speed Buzz, Top Star and Drop Zone.

There are family favourites, such as the dodgems, carousel and waltzers.

Tickets for the event can be booked in advance. For more information visit www.irn-bru-carnival.com
