HUNDREDS of people in Glasgow have paid extra to enjoy some VIP treatment at Europe's tallest cinema.
Cineworld said around 300 movie-goers had bought tickets so far for the experience, which offers cinema-goers unlimited gourmet food ahead of the movie, drinks and a private screen with recliner seats.
Staff can also serve a pre-ordered drink to your seat.
Refrew Street is the first of the chain's cinemas to introduce the premium experience.
The VIP tickets costs £19 for Cineworld pass holders and £30 for other customers.
A spokeswoman for Cineworld said: "We have had 287 guests so far,- we have also hosted a corporate night this week where 52 guests came and tried out VIP.
"VIP screens are available to book for special screenings and cinema are in the process of planning exciting ones ahead."
