A MAN has been fined for starting a fight at a children’s party in his own home.
Raja Nadir, of Hillside Road, Thornliebank, assaulted a young man on June 27, 2015.
The 40-year-old punched his victim in the head and body, and kicked him on the arm, causing injury, a court heard on Tuesday.
His solicitor told the court: “Mr Nadir is concerned about any implications of conduct may have had on his children.”
Sheriff Grant-Hutchison told Nadir the incident “must have been traumatic, upsetting and painful.” ..when a young man was struck by you.”
He was handed a fine of £250, and ordered to pay £300 in compensation.
