The closure is for the safe demolition of Bothwellpark Road Bridge near Hamilton.
In the video, construction workers are seen operating machinery to clear the road after the partial demolition.
Also visible in the footage are workmen on the new bridge, while the bridge is knocked down on the north bound carriageway.
The work is part of an ongoing £500 million works programme to improve Scotland's motorway network.
