Train fares in Britain will go up by an average of 2.3% next year, the rail industry has announced.
Here are the average fare increases by train operating companies from January 2:
Abellio Greater Anglia: 1.8%
Arriva Trains Wales: A spokeswoman said the operator was not publishing its average fare increase
c2c Rail: 1.8%
Caledonian Sleeper: 0%
Chiltern: 1.7%
CrossCountry: Did not provide the information
East Midlands Trains: 1.5%
First Hull Trains: Did not provide the information
TransPennine Express: 1.4%
Govia Thameslink Railway: 1.8%
Grand Central: Did not provide the information
Great Western Railway: 2.4%
Heathrow Express: 1.4%
London Midland: 1.9%
London Overground: 0%
Merseyrail: 1.9%
Northern: 2.2%
ScotRail: A spokeswoman said the operator was not publishing its average fare increase. The Scottish Government has said no final decision has been made on ScotRail fares
Southeastern: 1.8%
Stagecoach South West Trains: 1.5%
TfL Rail: Single fares within zones 1-6 will be frozen but it was unable to immediately provide an overall figure for all fares
Virgin Trains East Coast: 4.9%
Virgin Trains West Coast: 2.4%
