A female footballer who launched a foul-mouthed Twitter rant branding a linesman 'Captain Birdseye' has been given an FA ban.
Keri-Ann Moxom, 27, posted the offensive remarks after her side Helston lost 1-0 to St Agnes Ladies in their top-of-the-table clash in the Cornwall Women's League in October.
The talented midfield star wrote: "The most frustrating thing about today was f**king Captain Birdseye running the line and calling offside for everything....the p***k".
Her comments were reported to the Cornwall FA, which has now given her a one-match ban and £25 fine.
Keri, of Redruth, Cornwall, was found guilty of an improper conduct charge at a hearing by the county football's governing body on December 15.
