A PARAGLIDER has been airlifted to hospital after crashing at a park in Wishaw.
The man was flying over Greenhead Moss community nature park before he fell to the ground.
Emergency services were called to the incident on Saturday at around 3.30pm.
The 53-year-old is in a stable condition in hospital after suffering serious injuries.
A helicopter took the man to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment.
A police spokeswoman said: "The man is described being in a stable condition and enquiries are ongoing."
