SIX luxury townhouses have been completed next to one of Glasgow's oldest bowling clubs with a price tag of £845,000.
The development at Hillside Gardens Lane was built on the site of derelict tennis courts close to Partickhill Bowling green in the city's West End.
The 4-bedroom homes are split over three levels with a balcony and private gardens, two living rooms and views looking onto the green.
All six have been sold off-plan.
The bowling club sold the land to help boost a drop in funds caused by dwindling membership.
However the development sparked a negative response from local residents, who set up a dedicated campaign opposing it.
Glasgow-based construction firm, CCG (Scotland) Ltd is behind the project, which included the renovation of the old club house.
Calum Murray, Director for CCG said: “It is incredible to see this development in all its glory in the heart of the historic West End.
"The site that the townhouses were constructed upon was once overgrown with a lot of unsightly vegetation so to see this transformation, including the re-born Clubhouse, is a proud moment for CCG."
