Hundreds of people at Silverburn Shopping Centre have been evacuated after an alarm went off.
Shoppers were hurried out of the mall, in Barrhead Road, Pollok, amid reports of a fire breaking out at around 4:45pm.
Images showing confusion and the large scale of the evacuation have been posted onto Twitter.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service told the Evening Times: “We received a call at 4.45pm after the main alarm went off, but it was a false alarm and we left the scene at 4.59pm.”
It was also confirmed there was no fire.
