THE Scottish SPCA is appealing to animal lovers in Glasgow to donate blankets for neglected cats and dogs.
Staff at the rehoming centre in Cardonald have cared for more than 420 animals this year.
Centre Manager Anna O’Donnell said: “We’re struggling to keep up with the demand for blankets at the moment.
“We ask that people do not donate any old duvets or pillows they may have as we find our animals can easily tear these apart.”
Blankets can be handed into the centre at 125 Kinnell Avenue, Cardonald, Glasgow G52 3RY.
