UPDATE: April Fools!
We all know the feeling: you go on a night out, are totally revved up, you hit a pub with mates - and then end up spending half the night fighting to get served at the bar.
Well, no more fellow Glaswegians because, thanks to the genius team at Magners, the problem has finally been tackled thanks to a new invention which will change the face of nights out forever.
The cider brand is set to roll out a revolutionary ‘transportation system’ that almost instantly delivers drink directly into the hands of customers.
Set to be rolled out throughout Scotland in August, Magners CiderLoop uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver ice-cold bottles to thirsty punters within seconds.
How does it work?
Customers simply tap their contactless cards and a bottle emerges from their table instantly, meaning they spend less time at the bar and more time with their mates.
Janette Murray, Magners’ brand manager, said: “We all hate to queue but extensive customer research showed us bar queues, in particular, are a real pet peeve for drinkers.
“That’s why we’ve developed CiderLoop, a cutting-edge resolution to a real pub problem.
“This is a truly pioneering and unique service for Magners drinkers - there’s nothing else like it in the world.
“See you at the bar! Or, not.”
